My wonderful 24 year old Favorit needs some attention I think
My front right wheel has a very high pitched noise. It tends to start once I have been driving 5-10 mins, I live in a city so brake a lot in that time so I presume the brakes have warmed up a bit by then. My guess is that the brake pad is getting low and I read they have a metal tab which will make a noise to indicate it's worn.
Questions :-)
- Is it a relatively easy thing to change the pads as I would like to attempt it myself?
- Do you have any tips for doing the change?
- Is it likely the noise could be something else? ( the only thing I can think is bearings but I know the sound they normally make when gone and this is not similar)
